To care is first and foremost to recognize in the person in need the affinity we all share. It is the golden rule, that one strives to treat others as they would want to be treated.
How does this work?
- Listening: stop your self long enough to truly hear another
- Respecting: treat the unformation you receive as a personal conversation with a peer not a problem and a solver
- Assisting: don't just push papers (or in this case internet 'bits') but provide information in a way that empowers others
- Choose an appreciative response, caring is about recognizing the dignity of the other person
