Sunrise Ranch and Emissaries of Divine Light (EDL) use an email service from Google called Gmail but we have disguised it as if it was something that the websites provide.  The email system is called 'emnet' because it is for emissaries members and for sunrise employees.  Each login provided for the websites is really a Gmail login.


Sunrise IT is moving away from supporting the email tab in the two websites as there are problems keeping up with Google's software updates and the functionality suffers.


Until such time as we take the 'email' tab off or redirect it to Google here are the steps to connect to gmail directly rather than to go through the Sunrise or Emissaries websites first.


To access emnet emails:


  • Go to the URL mail.google.com (no www) from Chrome brower preferably.
  • Type the login name you were provide and be sure it has a suffix of @emnet.org
  • Enter the password you have been provided
  • You will see a new view of your email inbox but all the capabilities are there including the email completion feature for when you are composing a new email to anybody in the emnet address book.
